  • Sleep Routine:

Go to bed at the same time every night and get up at the same time every morning even on weekends, holidays and days off. Choose a time when you normally feel tired. If you don’t fall asleep within about 15 minutes, get up and do something relaxing. Try not to break this routine on weekends. If you want to change your bedtime, help your body adjust by making the change in small daily increments, such as 15 minutes earlier or later each day.

  • No TV Before Sleeping:

Get the Television out of the bedroom, for better sleep. Many people use the television to fall asleep or relax at the end of the day, but this is a mistake. It’s too stimulating to the brain, preventing you from falling asleep quickly.

  • Daily Exercise:

Exercise for at least 30 minutes per day can improve your sleep. But don’t exercise too close to bedtime or it may keep you awake. Exercise may improve their sleep quality from poor to good.

  • Keep Your Room Cool:

The temperature of your bedroom also affects sleep. A bedroom that is too hot or too cold can interfere with quality sleep. Most people sleep best in a slightly cool room around 65° F or 18° C .
