Home Remedies to Get Rid of Double Chin

When your skin develops fatty skin tissues and a thick layer of skin it cause a double chin on the face, neck. Double chin happens because of overweight, poor body posture, overeating and high intake of calories. If you want to get rid of double chin then follow the home remedies.

Cocoa Butter: Cocoa butter

Cocoa butter gives the best results to the skin and reduces the extra fat on your face. Warm a few tablespoons of cocoa butter in microwave and gently massage your face with it before going to bed. Repeat the process again before taking a bath in the morning. Repeat this process regularly.

Melon: Melon

Melon juice is a great skin toner and reduce a double chin. It contains lots of vitamins, proteins, phosphorus and calcium. Get fresh melon juice and apply it to the chin and neck areas with a cotton ball. Leave it on the skin for about 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse with fresh water. For best result, you can mix some apple juice with the melon juice and apply to the chin with a massage for a few minutes.

Egg Whites: Egg

Egg white loaded with protein. It is very good skin tightening agent and get rid of double chin. It is also good for the overall health of the skin. Take 2 white eggs, 1 tablespoon of milk, 1 tablespoon of honey, few drops of peppermint essential oil and one tablespoon of lemon juice in a bowl. Mix these ingredients perfectly. Apply this mixture on your face, neck and chin. Leave it for about half an hour until it dries off. Then wash it off with lukewarm water. Repeat this process once in a week till you get complete relief from the double chin.

Milk: Milk

Milk is the best remedy for the double chin. It consists of lactic acid and many other nutrients including Vitamin A, D, B6, B12, biotin, protein, potassium, calcium, magnesium. Apply milk on your chin area. Leave for sometime and then wash off with lukewarm water. You can mix milk and honey to make a mask and apply this to your chin. Leave for 15-20 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water. Repeat this daily.

Green Tea: Green Tea

Green tea helps to reduce double chin of the neck and the skin. It contains polyphenols which help to gives healthy body and skin. Drink a cup of green tea thrice a day. You can also use green tea bags to massage your skin.
