we believe that all skin is sensitive skin from time to time. Sensitive skin is not a skin type which is restricted to a few people, we can all experience sensitive skin occasions, sometimes when we least expect it. After all, our skin has to tolerate a lot – the weather, air conditioning, stress, pollution. Below are some tips to take care of sensitive skin.

Drink Lemon Water Daily:Lemon Water

Those who have sensitive skin must start their day with a glass of lemon water. Lemon is rich in vitamin C. Lemon helps to keep the skin glowing and free from acne, wrinkles and other problems. To make lemon water, squeeze the juice from half lemon into a glass of lukewarm water. Add a little honey in it and drink this water in an empty stomach every morning.


Honey is a great natural moisturizer. It is grateful for sensitive skin. It cleanses and moisturizes the skin at the same time. To use honey, mix it with yogurt and apply this on your face. If you have oily skin then take 4 tablespoons of clay powder and mix it with lemon juice, honey and water. Mix all the ingredients and apply on the face. Leave it for 10 to 20 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.

Use Sun-screen:Sunscreen

Sunscreen is very important to protect sensitive skin from harmful UV rays from the sun. Do not leave your house without using a sunscreen. Apply it 20 to 30 minutes before you go out in the sun. Sun block with minimum of SPF 15 is recommended for sensitive skin.


Milk is an excellent toner for sensitive skin. To use milk, take few tablespoons of cold milk in a bowl. Add a few drops of lemon juice and rose water in it. Mix well and apply this on your face and neck. Leave to dry for 15 minutes. Now, if your skin is oily, wash with lukewarm water and if your skin is dry then wash normal tap water.

Chocolate face mask:Chocolate face mask

Chocolate help to reduce fine lines, scars, and also protect the skin from the harmful effect of sun ray and pollution. Mix 5 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 4 tablespoons of honey and 2 tablespoons of mashed avocado. Apply the mask to your face. Gently massage the mask into your skin, leaving it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Then rinse it off with warm water.
