Hair Spa

Most people face hair problems like dandruff, hair loss, rough and dull hair. These problems can be reduced if spa treatment is taken. It helps in conditioning the scalp, circulates blood and gives relaxation. Below are some steps of a homemade hair spa which includes massaging, steaming, washing, conditioning and applying hair mask.

Massage Your Hair:Hair Massage

This is the first step to start a hair treatment at home. Warm some coconut oil or olive oil. Massage the oil well in to your scalp for about 15 or 20 minutes. The Vitamin D and Vitamin E in these oils are very useful in nourishing your hair. It makes your hair thick and long, controls loss of hair and hair fall, and also makes your hair shiny. This increases blood circulation and boosts hair growth.

Steam the Hair:Steam the Hair

The second step is to give steam to hair. Take some warm water and dip a towel in it. Squeeze out all the water from it. Wrap this towel around your head covering all your oiled hair. Leave this for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Wash your Hair:Hair Wash

Now, wash your hair with a mild shampoo. In case you are shampooing immediately after the steaming, then use lukewarm water for washing hair.

Apply Conditioner:Conditioning

After Shampooing, use a conditioner. You can even use natural hair conditioners like tea and lemon conditioner. For this, boil tea leaves in water and add lemon juice in it. Let it cool down. Rinse your hair with this after shampooing.

Hair Mask:Hair Mask

The last step of hair spa is to apply hair mask on your hair. It provides nourishment to your hair. Egg hair mask is suitable for all types of hair. Beat one egg and mix it with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and 3 tablespoons of honey in it. Make a mask by mixing them well. Apply this mask on your hair and scalp with your fingertips. Cover your head with a shower cap and leave it for a half an hour and then wash it out.
