Also known as the naukasana this asana is a great way to tone your abs. This asana is beneficial to cure many physical disorder. Lie down flat on your back on the yoga mat. with your feet together and your arms besides your body. Relax in this position for some time and keep breathing normally. Now try to raise your feet off the ground and brings your legs to a 45 degree angle. Hold your breath and the posture for 10-15 seconds. You can increase the time of holding posture by practicing regularly. Now exhale slowly and get back to your starting position.
This is popularly known as the mountain pose. Stand straight on a mat. Now take a deep breath and put your arms up and over your head and stretch it as much as you can. Your palms should be facing each other. Try to keep your hands straight. Reach up toward the sky with your fingertips. This Yoga pose is a good massage to your hands, back and the whole body. This is also best pose for increasing height as well.
The Chair Pose is one of the best thigh exercises that strengthen and tones the muscles, hips, back and chest along with the ankle and knee muscles. Stand straight on your yoga mat. Stretch your hands up in the air. Now bend at the knees and try to keep your thighs parallel to the floor in the same manner in which you sit on a chair. Stay in this position for as long as you can. This will help you in reducing fat from the arms and thighs.
Lie flat on your yoga mat, with your feet flat on the floor. Now exhale and push up and off the floor with your feet. Raise your body up such that your neck and head are flat on the mat and the rest of your body is in the air. Try doing this 5-10 times and then release. This yoga pose gives a good massage to your thighs and lower back.
This asana is popularly known as ‘Virbhadrasana’. For this, stand with your feet together and hands by your side and then move your feet about 4 inches apart from each other. Raise your arms up in the air and stretch them. Now turn your right leg to 90 degree on the right side and accordingly turn your left leg in the same direction and stretch it. Keep your back straight. Look upwards towards your hands facing the sky. Repeat this asana 10 times daily. It is an effective weight loss technique.
